Donovan truly thinks of everything in this encompassing guide. It's a wonderfully supportive reference for those thinking of RVing - both full and part time. You will learn a plethora of new (and honestly fun sounding) terms. One such term is Wally docking, which is reserved specifically for the RVs you may occasionally see in Walmart parking lots. Or boondocking, which is camping for free. There is a chapter devoted to terms in beginning, which is helpful to understanding the terminology in the rest of the guide. She helpfully provides apps that are specific to camping and RVing. On a related note, she supplies websites to reference as well for your travels. Something I loved is that she includes oodles of tips and even etiquette. Donovan thoughtfully includes pros and cons to RV living to better help you in your decision. A pro being the freedom (naturally), and a con being the surprising costs. The honesty about the costs was refreshing. Speaking of which, she devoted a chapter to maintenance too! Nestled in it are specifics to look out for as well. The Practical Things Everyone Should Have chapter is great for everyone, RV or not. A few items include dashcams, first aid kits, emergency blankets, road flares, battery-powered radio, tools, etc. She even provides individualized reasons as to why she lists the items. An emphasis is placed on the RV kitchen and how to adjust, with items to buy and how to address spacing issues. A great inclusion is the check list she provides for you to reference. This is a great short, inclusive guide that addresses so many various questions and concerns.
